We strive to create a safe and supportive environment where families can heal and grow together. The services at Fight Fair are to help any family at any stage and give guidance during the most difficult times in relationships. We want you to know that you are not alone and that there is help available.
At Fight Fair, we have the ability to provide you with counselling services that can be tailored to you and your family's unique needs. Our counsellor is proficient in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy, Gottman's Couples and Family therapy models to name a few.
At Fight Fair, our family mediator will guide you in your separation and will work with you both to get to an agreement in regards to separation and child support. The agreement between clients is confidential and will be unique to their needs. When children are involved in a separation, the mediator will always stress for the best interests of the child. Mediation is inexpensive (compared to court costs if the case goes to trial) and it encourages building strong relationships and communication skills throughout the process. Parties do not have to like or always agree with each other; the point of mediation is to agree on what you can to make the process of separation easier on everyone involved.

(Theses sessions are booked in 2 hour sessions but may be cut short due to dynamics or other concerns)
Pre-Marital Workshop- This program happens in two sessions, each session is one-hour long and the fee is $150/session including taxes and materials
Before Baby Bootcamp- $225 including taxes and materials for the program which takes place in a two-hour session.
In order to book mediation, both parties have to attend their own individual initial assessment (1-hour each).
Once that is complete and you are assessed that mediation is appropriate for your circumstances, then you are able to book your first mediation session.
Typically, there are about 4 two-hour sessions: parenting time, child support, spousal support and property division. One area like parenting time may take longer than another area like spousal support but overall, these areas are typically discussed over 4 2-hours sessions.
In the end, how many sessions is dependent on how each party is willing to cooperate with the process. If a decision cannot be reached on one issue, we will move on and return to it later. If the issue continues to not be resolved then the mediation report will still be created on what you both agreed upon and any issue unresolved can be disputed with your lawyers through the court process.
